My Unplanned (Virgin) Chili's Encounter

7:00 AM

Hi.

I seldom rarely write about food. Because 10 out of 10, I will forget what I ate. True story.

Plus, my first time into Chili's.
... where have I lived all those 4 years in KL?? Wtf. Damn recluse one this lady. Lol.

Just for the record, it was not planned. My friend suddenly had this brilliant idea to persuade me into accompanying him for dinner. Damn suave guy can persuade people. Wtf.

We went to Chili's branch at Bangsar Shopping Complex.

Me and my menu-obsessed picture

He decided to order this before our mains arrived. Then he disliked the sauce. To me, it was nice.

Southwestern Grilled Lamb, cooked medium well
RM36.95

The meat was tender and yummy, literally I loved every bit of morsel in that plate. Lol.

The mashed potatoes is to die for! Soft with some chunks, melted in my mouth.

Yeah, I love this dish. Give me more of this.

I couldn't believe I could polish of the plate. My friend even doubted me. Pfffttt.

I was tempted to drink wine but I was the one driving so had a mocktail, Mango Fizz which is quite good.

Then he suggested Souled Out next week.
... Wtf, go win a lottery la, Bro!

Bye.

Rants from deep within

12:25 AM

Hi.

I have been passively blogging these past weeks... if you accept Press Release as blogging.
Which technically isn't if you understand well what blogging means.
Excuse me for being emotionally unstable at the moment.
Still transitioning into career mode from university-student mode.
Anyway...

It is an idiotic title for a blog post.
Yes, I meant that literally.

Let me count my blessings so far, for this year.

I got my driver's license in March. At last, finally! Even if I did failed on the road test at first because, honestly, who doesn't go over the white line when exiting a junction? Pffttt. Well, I passed on the second try but damn just for that one part is kinda shit. Wtf.

I finished my internship with joy. No kidding, at least. Even though I had my wtf moments during. Anyway, I got my first job there. That's all on the career track... or path, whatever.

Another meaningful aspect in my life? I moved out from my parents' place. Like finally! Don't get me wrong, I love my family but wtf driving from Shah Alam to KL?? Torturous, horrible, most upsetting moment, I even got near hysterical going through it 5 days a week. It was detrimental. So I had to move out nearer to KL or my sanity will not last long. Plus I love my room now, it's near perfect, with convenient access to food. :)

Next month I will have a momentous event: My Graduation. Saying goodbye to a 4-year course which honestly only imparted me with nuggets of wisdom in handling humans. Literally speaking.

I am not really typing what I want to right now. I still have the passion to do journalism or literature or anything close to writing my heart out. I love English, even if I butcher it myself. Wtf, Give me my love of writing nonsense back.

Currently reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green and I say, wtf, I miss reading books like this so so so much! The words, the sentences, the humour in them... T.T What have I miss these past months?

... wtf, I AM emotionally unstable.

Okay, one more blog post to type and schedule then back to reading my love.

Mere expectations
With naught a promise
Lies of inaction
Causes Love demise.

PR:BOSS MA VIE POUR FEMME

Press Release

BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme is the new fragrance for women from BOSS Parfums, which completes the trio following the earlier successful launches of BOSS NUIT Pour Femme and BOSS JOUR Pour Femme.
Inspired by an element of the BOSS woman’s life that until now has gone unnoticed, it draws on the pleasure she feels when she chooses to step out of her day-to-day routine, slow down, loosen up and simply enjoy a moment for herself. The fragrance captures the intimate essence of her independent spirit, releasing the indulgent and fulfilling sensation of simply savouring her life.

Jason Wu, Artistic Director for BOSS Women’s wear, influenced the fragrance campaign with his vision of a new, modern femininity which included the wardrobe design – a tuxedo complementing Gwyneth Paltrow’s personal style.
Top notes of cactus blossom capture the invigorating green freshness of the desert plant, providing a unique and modern element to this new fragrance.
The fragrance’s flacon is similar to that of BOSS NUIT Pour Femme and BOSS JOUR Pour Femme, but its delicate mellow pink shade contrasts with the sleek darkness of the former, and the simple, light design of the latter. The crystal lid is precision cut, and the gold band adds a modern element to the feminine flacon.

“I am so happy to be part of the launch of the third female fragrance from BOSS Parfums, BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme. I love the concept behind the fragrance and that it represents a time to pause and take a moment. I have these moments every day where I think how beautiful life is. It’s those moments that are so simple and so pure, and that really connect you to your heart.” Gwyneth Paltrow, BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme Ambassador
“The BOSS woman is about success and powerful femininity and those are the qualities that I see very much in Gwyneth Paltrow. The concept behind BOSS MA VIE Pour Femme is about confidence in a woman, and I thought Gwyneth Paltrow embodies the role perfectly.” Jason Wu, Artistic Director BOSS Womens wear

PR:Gucci Première launches Eau de Toilette

9:00 AM

Press Release

Gucci introduces Gucci Première Eau de Toilette, a lighter, brighter, more delicate incarnation of this memorable signature scent, to celebrate the thrill of everyday success. More understated than its Eau de Parfum close relative, Gucci Première Eau de Toilette rewards those champagne moments of everyday achievement and makes them resonate and last. The fresh, sparkling fragrance combines presence and sensual femininity to endow the wearer with an unfading radiance.

Blake Lively, the face of the original Gucci Première Eau de Parfum, and no stranger to Hollywood herself, reprises her role for the new, softer Eau de Toilette. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Blake again brings her own brand of feminine strength and assurance to the promotional campaign for this launch.
Blake Lively says: “This new fragrance announces that you have strength and are happy in your own skin. I really love that. It’s for the woman that I’ve always aspired to be. Every day.”
The bottle and packaging for Gucci Première Eau de Toilette incorporates many of the details and design motifs now associated with Gucci Première Eau de Parfum: a medal charm around the neck of the elegant flacon, entwined with the House’s iconic horsebit. A cap bearing the distinctive signature: “Gucci Première”. A box featuring a gilt rendition of the brand’s coveted interlocking GG Diamante pattern, which has become one of the world’s most recognised design motifs, as well as the script signature of founder Guccio Gucci, and the House’s signature web stripe. However, in keeping with the unique character of the Eau de Toilette, the glamour has been re-imagined. As with the juice inside, the colour of the box is a muted gold, rather than a strong dazzling hue.

Gucci Première Eau de Toilette 50ML  RM291
Gucci Première Eau de Toilette 75ML  RM407
