Updates & water brats

4:33 PM

Hi. Not going to write much, blogging from this ipad is killing my creativity because I need a lot more patience with it.

So anyway, I actually have a lot from last week which I haven't even start drafting. This intern life really tires me out.

On another note, I can't believe spoilt brats really exist. It was only during this water rationing that I experienced these brats.

At least, there's water. But these brats go whining about how slow the water pressure is. I really felt like blasting them using the fire hose. That's full pressure right up their nose.

Haih why turn into a rant. Hahahaha. Long time didn't write so allow me to let go of some stress.

Tomorrow is the last day of April. It has it's up and down. Well, I can't wait for tomorrow night. It would be a great ending to this month.

Yeah, I'm this positive about life.

P.S.: Why go private when you can show off your life & up to others to read or comment about it? Or maybe it was the ugly truth...

My existence

9:00 PM

Why would you erase those memories?

Were they painful for you?

Didn't they matter?

I chose to remember.

Because no matter how painful.

Memories became a part of me.

Forgetting them means I don't exist.

When you said you never Skyped.

You lied.

You erased the memories.

You chose to deny your existence.

That is what it means.

When you chose to forget and lie.

You thought forgetting would be the best.

And I am another liar if I say I don't care that you forgotten.

My existence in your life.

The very hurt that it means.

SP: Mediviron UOA Part III

7:00 AM

First, apologies for the absent of this progress. There were some problems and I just couldn't blog about this.

I went for my last treatment with Mediviron II UOA on 29th March 2014.

Before, this is my current face now.
Maybe you won't notice the difference much but I do!

My cheeks definitely look not as puffy as before. I can define my jawline now!

Previously I don't know where it is even because of the fat stored in that area. :P

So on that morning, I met the doctor to review my face first. She asked how I felt and honestly I was satisfied. Then she suggested that I do Fat Melting Injection (FMI) for my cheeks. They are still quite a lot of fat there, she said to me. She even pinched too.

What is FMI?

A cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, minerals and supplements is administered in a specific area of your body. It blocks the cells at that area from storing fats while stimulating it to burn up the fats. The vitamins, minerals and amino acids tighten the skin, while the lipolytic agent helps break down the existing fat cells. The liquefied fat will then be flushed out naturally from your body through the lymphatic system.
·         It dissolves excess fat deposits in just the right place.
·         It helps you lose inches, decrease bulk and improve your body shape and contour.
·         It removes fibrotic, hardened connective tissue and hence, improves the appearance of your skin with the reduction of cellulite.
·         It smoothes and tightens your skin.
·         No downtime. You can immediately return to your social and working life.

Since I was already there, why not right? So they applied the numbing cream on the cheeks area and I waited until really numb.
FMI began.

During the injection, the doctor said I could choose either to lie down or sit up. I chose to sit up. Then she started injecting my cheeks.

This time I can feel the FMI. On a scale of 10, 1 being painless and 10 - go figure :P - the pain was 5. The first treatment I did would be 3. It's not like I scream or anything. But I nearly felt a tear coming. The pain was temporary though, not prolong.

*Disclaimer: It was based on my opinion. I heard from Joan that other customers found it tolerable. Please check with the doctor and inform if you can tolerate or not.

After the treatment, the doctor told me to massage my cheeks for 3 days to make it more effective.

So I massaged my cheeks. Honestly, when massaged, I can feel something in my cheeks and there was pain. After the third day, no more pain already.

Now is almost a month after the treatment. *cough I didn't know I would blog so late, dislike the problems that occurred, later I blog about it.

I can see my cheekbones!

Okay, you say nothing, fine. I can see the mirror clearly here. :P

The Great Guardian Make Over "My Date with Beauty"

9:00 AM

Oh God My~ *intended pun because of an interesting FB status. #Iknowit'slame

Anyway, it's almost a week after an event I attended with the ladies from The Butterfly Project. *flicks self on forehead.

First of, I got lucky with this invite. Only 26 invites given out. Plus, this is my 2nd invite. Previous was the High Tea last year. Then I couldn't or dare not try my luck with other events. Partly because I am having my intern or I don't know the place. :P

Yeah! I got the invite. Honestly, I nearly screamed when I saw the email. Thanks so much!

Now let's read on about what happened last Saturday.

At the entrance of the venue.

The Make Over counters/stations. :P

The stage.

I tried this. Got the normal, healthy level. :) Am happy that I have normal cholesterol level.

My turn for make over.

I asked him to make it a half braid instead of braiding it down, just to test out how it would look.
If I happen to want to try it out myself.

After finish hair styling, I moved to the next station: Make up time!

My look after.
Can see my eyes right? And my flushed cheeks. And that lips! :D
I opted for Natural. There was a Glam look also.

The make up products used. I'm considering that lipstick, both from Maybelline.

The stage had an ongoing demonstration for people to watch.

The photo booth at the event.
It's a nice pink, wonder what they do with it after? I would love to have it! :P
Can take lots of pictures.

:D I uploaded my pictures on Google+ and suddenly found this one above. Totally unexpected, not sure from my phone or what.
You can see how the make up on my face. :)

Cute *cough* side view.

Another motion picture. :)

Proof of my healthy cholesterol level. :P

I went back to my room and removed the eye make up.
I think better when I have less on my eyes.
Love the lips he did!

Didn't attend the event? There's two contest going on until 30th April 2014!

1) Guardian PhotoBox Facebook contest, exclusively for the Makeover participants and

2)Guardian “What Makes Me Beautiful” Instagram contest.

Check the links below for more info :

Thanks for the invite!

I met Xin Sheng Huo from the High Tea and a new blogger too, who happens to have the same name as me! It was so coincidence, especially when we have the exact same spelling: Julianna. :D

Thanks for all the fun!

DOLCE from Dolce&Gabbana

8:00 AM

Press Release

The new fragrance that heralds an emotional and sensory journey through the heart of Dolce&Gabbana’s noble land of Sicily.  DOLCE blossoms in the memories of Domenico and Stefano. In the same antique mirror that hangs in the Designers’ office today, which was in the tailor shop of Domenico’s father in Polizzi Generosa, near Palermo, the reflections of emotions and traditional values come back to life.
Dolce is one’s personal touch, feminine and fresh, signature scent. It epitomises the simplicity of a result obtained thanks to a complex process: the same one needed to create a finely-embroidered dress.
“The nobility of the soul, the elegance of every day gestures, the joy of sharing from generation to generation, and the effortless perfection of a single white flower. This is the picture of Sicily that I carry within me, and the one captured in this delicate fragrance,” says Domenico Dolce.
“Dolce is a contemporary fragrance inspired by a memory. The originality is not just in the way it was created, using traditional essences and other brand-new ingredients, but also because it is the translation into fragrance of a young new love that will, by virtue of its innocence, retain its youthful vitality,” adds Stefano Gabbana.
Dolce is a gentle, feminine mix of white flowers, introduced by the freshness of the Neroli leaves and defined by the White Amaryllis, a South African flower used for the first time ever in scent. The fragrance opens with a brightly-coloured, sweet-smelling explosion of Neroli leaves and Papaya flower, dissipating into a floral bouquet as the core of the fragrance emerges. A unique and opulent combination of White Water Lily and bold White Daffodil blend perfectly with the full-bodied White Amaryllis. The rich, fulsome notes of the South African White Amaryllis were created using “Headspace Technology” which captures the exact scent of the flower when it is in full bloom without having to cut it and grind the petals to extract the essential oil.  Its wide, trumpet blooms has buds that grow at different speeds – so each has a different intensity of scent.

Dolce’s elegant packaging is reminiscent of a vintage fragrance flacon. Thick, clear glass with softly curved lines reveal sparkling glints of the vibrant green juice, as fresh and crisp as the Neroli leaves within. The flower stopper is crafted to portray the marzipan sculptures of traditional Sicilian confectioners. The bud is perfection itself, the petals fan out in three rows, with colours graduating from milky-white, to cream, with a soft pink centre.
A thin black grosgrain ribbon, in an elegant bow, conjures images of the white shirts and bow-ties that were a signature of early Dolce&Gabbana catwalk shows.  The outer packaging, the soft white box’s material is as refined and smooth as fine leather.
The final and most personal touch: Dolce signed in a flourish of black script, a replica of Domenico Dolce’s father’s own signature. It is underscored by the Dolce&Gabbana logo with a graphic twist of thin black grosgrain ribbon, a perfect contrast of classic and contemporary style.

Kate King stars as Dolce’s campaign testimonial and her role in the television campaign marks her screen debut.  The twenty-year-old Canadian model is fast becoming a recognised face in the Dolce&Gabbana recent ready to wear and jewellery collections with her wide, almond-shaped hazel eyes and noble features.
In the advertising campaign, Domenico Dolce himself shot the print fragrance for Dolce, working alongside Stefano Gabbana as Creative Director -  his first time behind the lens for a Dolce&Gabbana fragrance campaign.
To bring to life the story of Dolce, Domenico and Stefano recreated a garden of white flowers at the wall of a stately
Sicilian home. The soft and ethereal background highlights Kate King’s refined beauty, portraying her as a modern day Angelica - Claudia Cardinale woken from sleep, pure, natural and still dressed in her white petticoat.
Academy Award-winning director and ultimate ambassador for the Sicilian lifestyle, Giuseppe Tornatore, was asked to translate all the feelings of the Dolce world, into an iconic film. Tornatore interprets with elegance the finest nuances of the soul.

Cinderella, the Flip flops version?

8:51 PM

You read this post title right, don't worry. :P

Yeah, when you hear Cinderella, it's always those glass heels or slippers in some. Really classy and sophisticated. The ideal pair of heels for the evening or ball as in Cinderella's case.

But for the Summer or tropical country like Malaysia? *Okay, it's mostly raining right now. The Sun will come back soon and back to sweating backs.

Flip flops?

Get this right, we don't normally see flip flops in the boardroom, Heaven forbids. Because it's deemed inappropriate for formal occasions.

Why does something so comfortable looks so wrong in a formal setting? Because it doesn't look pretty enough with that elegant LBD.

Okay, I kid, enough with the lame muses.

Heard of Havaianas?

They are having the coolest Limited Edition Summer Kit!

Summer with this Kit?

Especially those illustrations. Bet you want them too. ;)
